Our purpose
We believe traditional supplementation alone is increasingly denying a growing number of customers from effective nutritional support. An estimated 40% of us cannot take, may not benefit from taking or would simply prefer not to take another tablet or capsule if given the alternative.
The result for many is increasing avoidance and a reduced supplementation compliance. We have a duty of care to ensure our customers receive the most effective support for their supplementation needs.

Intelligent supplementation
BetterYou specialises in the supplementation of those nutrients that have become underrepresented or simply omitted due to our modern diet and lifestyles.
Today we understand that traditional tablet and capsule supplementation relies upon a digestive process that has evolved exclusively for food intake, and absorption cannot be universally guaranteed. Add to this, the dramatic increase in digestive malabsorption issues such as IBS, Crohn’s and coeliac disease and an effective alternative delivery mechanism has become essential.
Each and every product is developed and formulated to overcome absorption challenges typically presented by traditional delivery methods.

Health through scientific partnerships
Transdermal Magnesium
Transdermal magnesium therapy was developed commercially by the biochemist Juan Rossello and asthma sufferer Andrew Thomas as a way to reduce reliance on steroid-based inhalers. They found that by applying magnesium chloride directly to the skin they were able to elevate cellular levels rapidly and effectively, without the need for traditional tablet supplementation.
Intra-oral Sprays
Intra-oral spray technology has been used medicinally for many years, but it was the absorption research with Dr. Charles Heard and his team at Cardiff University that harnessed it for nutritional supplementation. The result was a fast, effective and convenient delivery mechanism, now used by health professionals worldwide.
At-home health checks
With a focus on education and results-based advice, BetterYou teamed up with the NHS in the UK to provide the public with an at-home test kit to support the identification of vitamin D level status; the popularity of this kit has enabled it to become one of the primary testing methods of personal vitamin D evaluation in the UK.
The Better Planet Project
In response to the growing concerns around plastic production and recycling, BetterYou has developed a range of recycled and carbon-negative packaging solutions that enables us to drastically reduce our impact on the environment.
Since 2019, we have been committed to utilising 100% recycled or carbon negative plastic - all 100% recyclable, across our entire product range.
