One tree planted
We believe everyone should have the right to clean air. That’s why we’ve teamed up with carbon-busting specialists, Earthly, to support their reforestation project in Madagascar.
Now every time you place an order through betteryou.com, we will plant a mangrove tree to help sequester carbon from the atmosphere.
Why Mangrove trees?
Estimates suggest that mangrove trees sequester carbon at a rate of 2 – 4 times greater than mature tropical forests, with each tree removing around 308kg of harmful CO2 from the atmosphere over the course of its life cycle.
They also provide lots of other natural benefits such as storm surge protection and vital habitat for many species. The scheme also provides essential work hours for local communities.
