Key Finding: After 12 weeks treatment, subjects raised their cellular magnesium levels with an average increase of 59.7%. Furthermore patients showed a 25.2% improvement in the calcium/magnesium balance. 78% of patients also showed significant evidence of detoxification of heavy metals following treatment with BetterYou Magnesium Oil.

Effect of transdermal magnesium cream on serum and urinary magnesium levels in humans: A pilot study

Key Findings: Transdermal delivery of 56 mg Mg/day showed a larger percentage rise in both serum
and urinary markers from pre to post intervention compared with subjects using the placebo cream, but statistical significance was achieved only for serum Mg2+ in a subgroup of nonathletes.

Key Finding: Magnesium can permeate the skin from topically applied liquid solutions of MgCl2. The
act of massaging is key to achieving such a high dose.

Key Finding: A sublingual vitamin D spray is an effective and preferential mode of delivery for supplementation in a healthy population. Achievable rates of vitamin D increment are suggested to be around 2 nmol/ml/day.
