Transdermal Magnesium & Mineral Balance (Watkins & Josling, 2010)

Key findings:

In just 12 weeks, participants using BetterYou Magnesium Oil increased their cellular magnesium levels by an average of 59.7%. The study also found a 25.2% improvement in calcium–magnesium balance, a key marker for healthy muscle, bone and nerve function. In addition, 78% of participants showed signs of detoxification of heavy-metals, highlighting the wider benefits of restoring optimal magnesium levels.

Vitamin D Oral Spray in Gaelic Footballers (Todd et al., 2017)

Key findings:

BetterYou Vitamin D Oral Spray supplementation significantly improved vitamin D levels by around 36 nmol/L, compared with the placebo group. This clearly shows that the spray is an effective way to increase vitamin D levels.

Transdermal Magnesium Cream (Kass et al., 2017)

Key findings: 

In this pilot study, participants applying BetterYou magnesium cream (56 mg/day) saw noticeable increases in serum magnesium, especially in non-athletes, where the rise was statistically significant. Urinary magnesium also increased more than in the placebo group, showing that magnesium absorbed through the skin can have a significant impact on your magnesium levels.

In Vitro Transdermal Delivery of Magnesium (Heard, 2011)


Key findings:

In the clinical trial by Cardiff University, magnesium from the BetterYou topical magnesium chloride solution was successfully shown to pass through skin. The study also found that the act of massaging the solution into the skin to delivering such a high dose, underlining the importance of proper application for effective magnesium delivery.

Sublingual Vitamin D – University of Sheffield

Key Findings:

This study showed that a sublingual (oral spray) vitamin D supplement is a reliable and effective way to raise vitamin D levels, with blood concentrations increasing by around 2 nmol/L per day. Participants also found the spray a convenient and preferred method of supplementation, demonstrating that oral sprays work just as well as capsules while offering added ease of use.

Buccal Spray vs Soft Gel Capsules (Satia et al., 2015)

Key findings:

This study showed that the BetterYou Vitamin D buccal spray can deliver vitamin D directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the gut. Serum vitamin D₃ levels increased up to 2.6 times higher than with soft gel capsules, making it a faster, more efficient way to correct deficiency, even for people with impaired intestinal absorption.

Vitamin D and Quality of Life in IBS (Tazzymanet al.)

Key Findings:

This pilot trial found that many people with IBS have low vitamin D levels , and these deficiencies may worsen symptoms and reduce quality of life. Correcting vitamin D insufficiency could help reduce the impact of IBS on daily wellbeing, supporting better comfort and health overall.

Key findings:
