Magnesium Lotion reviews

I was recommended to use the magnesium…

“I was recommended to use the magnesium gel by my physio. I also purchased Vitamin D spray as I am deficient and B12 spray as I suffer with Fibromyalgia which affects my energy levels. Too soon to evaluate the sprays but the magnesium is definitely helping with the pain in my muscles and I would recommend it. The magnesium sleep lotion has resulted in the best sleep in years. Thank you.”

Magnesium Skin Body Butter vs Magnesium Lotion

What is Magnesium Skin Body Butter?

BetterYou MagnesiumSkin Body butter is a deeply rich, intensively moisturising body butter containing a perfect balance of skin kind ingredients – including shea butter, coca butter, coconut oil and vitamin E.

What is the difference?

Magnesium Skin body butter is perfect when you need a more intensive moisturiser whilst still offering the benefits of magnesium. Ingredients such as coca butter help to form a protective barrier on the skin. The ingredients are also helpful during the winter months as the skin is prone to chapping.

Magnesium lotions are a much lighter way to moisturise and apply a thinner type of application. They are designed for a more direct application and often used on arms, stomachs and thighs. The benefit of lotions is that they are better for on-the-move application as it does not leave as an oily feel on your skin.

Which one is best for me?

Magnesium Skin Body Butter is excellent for full-body, daily application and is ideal for dry skin. Containing 15% Magnesium Oil the Body Butter is gentle on even the most sensitive skin and can be used on all ages. 5ml provides 75mg (21.5% RDA) of elemental magnesium.

Magnesium Skin Body Lotion is a lighter application which both moisturises your skin and provides excellent levels of magnesium, delivering 150mg (43% RDA) of elemental magnesium with just 5ml.

Can you overdose on Magnesium Lotion?

You do not have to worry about overdosing on the Magnesium Lotion due to its transdermal application, which means the mineral is absorbed through the skin rather than the digestive tract. Upper limits are only set when using the product orally, this is because large doses can have a laxative effect due to it being a natural relaxant.

Best areas to apply magnesium

You can apply Magnesium Lotion anywhere on the body, avoiding contact with eyes and broken or damaged skin. Simply apply to the area you wish to target and massage it into the skin.

For best results, apply the lotion to clean, dry skin.
