How to Get a Six Pack In 30 Seconds

Shut your eyes, and imagine your fleshy belly, a sculpted dream of muscular ripples and tan waves of skin.  Now open your eyes, and realize that you’re an idiot.  Unless you’ve already got a six pack where the rest of America has a 12 pack, then you ain’t getting one in 30 seconds or maybe ever.

Not to be a downer, but despite what any trainer tells you (and the good ones won’t), you cannot get the six pack of your girlfriend’s dreams without putting in the hard work and the starvation hours.

And no, I’m not endorsing starvation, but the idea behind a six pack is that the muscles of your abdomen are so defined that they can’t help but show themselves off, one gleaming wave of muscular superiority at a time.  AND, this is the big AND; your caloric intake, plus caloric expenditure must complete that perfect formula of low body fat that you need to showcase that stunning midsection in tube tops instead of mumus.

So instead of dreaming about it, here is a list of three things you can do to get a six pack:

  1. Trade in your 12 pack.  Seriously – they’re called beer bellies for a reason.
  2. Stop eating 3 hours before bed time so your metabolism can get crackin on all the crap you ate the night before.
  3. Work your core – not talking about your grandma’s situps.  Pilates and personal training are great ways to work all of your abdominal muscles, especially the tiny ones.

We all know spot training is a myth, but with a low calorie diet, targeted workouts and an imagination – we call all have the six pack of our dreams or maybe just look a little better in tube tops.
