Ten Things You Can Do Right Now To Look and Feel Your Best

(And best of all, they’re FREE!!)

Looking GoodLet’s face it, looking and feeling your best isn’t always easy to do.  You’re busy, you’re tired, and sometimes you just don’t know where to begin.  Sure, those A-list celebs look great, but they have millions of dollars and a bevy of personal assistants and stylists!

Take a deep breath and relax.  Looking your best isn’t always about bringing more things into your life—sometimes it’s about taking things out of it!!  Below are a list of ten things you can do, totally free of charge, that will help you instantly look and feel your best.

1. Drink water.  There cannot be life without water.  Make the most of yours by drinking 8 glasses a day.  Skin that’s well hydrated has a youthful and sexy glow.  People who are hydrated feel better and have more energy.

2.Stand up straight.  Don’t be a slouch in the posture department.  Practicing good posture is a way to instantly lose pounds and appear taller and slimmer.  Slumping makes you look tired and older.  Standing up straight also conveys confidence, so push those shoulders back and stand tall!

3.Transform your eyebrows and transform your face.  Your eyes are a picture and your eyebrows are the frame.  Your eyebrows should make the most of your eyes and also flatter your face.  You can have a beautifully framed picture, but if it’s not hung in the right spot, it will just look off in your house.

4.Eat slowly and thoughtfully.  Often food is just an afterthought in our busy and frazzled lives.  Eating when we’re rushed or eating thoughtlessly leads to overeating and sneaky weight gain.  Work food into your busy schedule.  Set aside time to eat and DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE while you’re eating.  Relax and concentrate on enjoying your meal.  You’ll be less likely to eat junk or overeat.

5.Get rid of the things in your closet that do not make you look  or feel good.  Hanging on to an unflattering piece of clothing is like hanging on to a bad boyfriend.  It’s literally holding on to negative opinions and emotions about yourself.  Why do that to yourself?  Show yourself some love by only keeping the things that make you look and feel great.  Even if you end up with only a few pieces, you will love everything you put on and always look great.

6.Don’t save, SPEND.  We are always saving that one sexy dress or silky lingerie for “special” occasions.  Life is the occasion and you are special.  Treat yourself every day to the things that make you feel special.  Don’t blow your savings on a trip to Paris, but go ahead and burn that decadent scented candle while you’re reading in bed or wear your lingerie beneath your work suit.

7.Don’t clean your plate.  Whether you’re at a restaurant or a dinner party, don’t feel the need to eat everything in front of you.  Most portions are out of control and lead to pounds that are easy to put on and hard to get off.  Eat slowly and give yourself time to feel satisfied.  If you’re at a restaurant, eat half of what’s on your plate and have the rest packed.  Now you’ve solved the problem of lunch the next day!

8.Have sex.  Work up a sweat with someone you adore.  Remind yourself of how desirable you are and glow all the next day.

9.Just let it go.  We all hang on to the fights, arguments, and wrong-doings that make our blood boil and separate us from the ones we love.  Anger and resentment do nothing but make you feel bad and look unattractive.  Know that you’ve been hurt or disappointed, but just let it go.  You cannot be responsible for someone else’s actions, but you can be responsible for how you respond.  Don’t let yourself and your life be filled with useless anger and hatred.

Be wildly attracted to yourself.  Treat yourself with the kindness that someone who is wildly attracted to you does.  See the good things about yourself and be gentle about the negative.  Notice how your lips are nice and full, not how wide your hips are.
